  • July 14, 2014 Don Stanger filed his provisional patent application for flexible hand guards.
  • July 30, 2014 Don Stanger named the company Reflex Racing.
  • August 22, 2014, Don’s wife, Leslie Atkinson bought the domain www.reflexracing.com and set up the first website.
  • Don drew the Reflex Racing skull logo and font.
  • January 21, 2015 Reflex Racing filed a Certificate of Assumed Business Name.
  • February 1, 2015 Leslie Atkinson was the first woman to compete in an AMA Snow bike race.
  • February 25, 2015 Reflex Racing received its Idaho Sellers’s Permit.
  • March 19, 2015 the Reflex Racing digital logo was born with graphics artist Danny Adair.
  • March 2015 first review by DirtBike Test
  • April 10, 2015 first time vendor at Odessa 100 Stumpjumpers where we set our all-time high daily record of 27 sells and installs.
  • May 30-31, 2015 first time sponsoring Idaho City 100 and displaying handguards on vendor row.
  • February 18, 2016 the final patent application for flexible hand guard was filed.
  • May 2015 First plastic mold of the Reflex Racing signature coffin shape plastic shields was created. After lots of trial and error getting the plastic chemistry right, February 2016 the first plastics with graphics where made available.
  • July 2016 first time handguards are spotlighted in Dirt Rider magazine.
  • November 22, 2016 the flexible hand guard patent was granted US9499225B2.
  • June 2017 first article and review in Cycle News.
  • December 2018 first shipment to Australia.
  • February 2018 first shipment to Singapore.
  • March 11, 2018 ten (10) racers riding Reflex Racing handguards all podium on the same day at National Hare and Hound Round 3 Kalgary, TX.
  • March 2018, filed a provisional patent on Don’s next invention for Reflex Racing community.
